Frequently Aksed Questions
About The Mattress
How long should I wait before I can use my new mattress?
On average, our mattress takes 48 hours to one week for it to fully decompress. However, you may start using your new mattress right away. In fact, sleeping on your mattress can help with the decompression as well. Read our set-up and care instructions to know more.
Will my new Beddingstock mattress smell or off-gas?
It is common for new memory foam mattresses to smell or off-gas upon unboxing because of its materials. But, you shouldn’t worry. Though the odor from mattress off-gassing is unpleasant, it isn’t harmful for most people. More so, the smell will often quickly go away.
Does your mattress work on an adjustable bed?
Yes, all Beddingstock mattresses work well with adjustable beds.
Can I flip my Beddingstock mattress?
We recommend that you don’t. Because memory foam mattresses are constructed from top to bottom with memory foam as the top layer and polyurethane foam as the bottom layer, flipping your mattress upside down will not provide you the best comfort and support.
Will a memory foam mattress make me sleep hot?
Not a chance. All the layers of memory foam in our mattresses are gel-infused and expertly crafted with optimal airflow and breathability. The gel-infused memory foams we use on our mattresses help dissipate heat and regulate body temperature for a more refreshing, more comfortable sleep.
Is the zippered mattress cover removable/washable?
Yes, the zippered mattress cover is removable and washable. It can be machine-washed on a gentle cycle and then air-dried. But, make sure only to use cold water when washing and avoid heat when drying.
What type of foundation should I use for my mattress?
Any among a box spring, steel base, or a platform bed foundation is ideal to go under a memory foam mattress. The harder the surface, the better the memory foam mattress will perform. If you don’t have any foundation that has a “give,” you can simply put a piece of plywood on top of it to give the mattress the proper support it needs.
Where do you manufacture your mattresses?
We manufacture our mattresses in China and stock them in the USA. But, regardless of country of origin, all our sleep products are manufactured under strict quality assurance standards. Our mattresses have CertiPUR-US and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certifications.
How is Beddingstock different from other mattress companies?
We’re known for providing premium quality sleep products at affordable prices. But, on top of that, we always make sure all our sleep products undergo strict quality control by accredited, independent labs to ensure the highest standard and durability. Furthermore, we utilize natural, eco-friendly materials as part of our green initiative.
How do Beddingstock mattresses compare to brands like Sealy, Serta, and Tempur-Pedic?
While we can’t compare model to model, we can say that our mattresses are preferred over some of the big-name brands by many of our customers because of our quality and affordability. We can provide real customer feedback to back up this claim.
How can Beddingstock sell for less?
We source our sleep products directly from the manufacturer that produces exclusively for us. All our products come directly from the factory straight to our warehouse, cutting down additional unnecessary costs. Because our products are only sold online, unlike traditional brick-and-mortar stores, we can cut down on other costs such as distribution, rent, etc. as well without sacrificing the quality of our sleep products.
